What is SOC 2?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is an annual auditing procedure that ensures your service providers securely manage your data to protect the interest of your organization.
For security conscious businesses, SOC 2 accreditation is seen as a vendor must.
D&E has incorporated an on-going platform to be SOC 2 compliant. We have, on retainer, a national data security expert to help us stay current with national and international compliance requirements, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules in Europe.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 defines criteria for managing consumer data based on five “trust service principles”.
