IT’S FOR YOUR PROTECTION!

MFA is a layered approach to securing data and applications in which a system requires a user to provide a combination of two or more credentials to verify a user’s identity for login. MFA increases security because even if one credential becomes compromised, unauthorized users will be challenged to meet the second authentication requirement and will not be able to access the system.

As the National Administrator of the Protective Executive UL program, Dye & Eskin, Inc. will be using  MFA as a means to protect an applicant’s personal information as they access the Protective application — via the Dye & Eskin, Inc. online enrollment tool, eVictoryEnroll.

How an applicant is authenticated using MFA:

  1.  eVictoryEnroll will ask the applicant to confirm two pieces of personal information that has been supplied to D&E by the employer. If the applicant is successful in confirming, the next step in the layered authentication process will automatically begin.
  2. eVictoryEnroll will ask the applicant to select whether they wish to receive an automated voice communication or text communication to receive a passcode. This is a one-time randomly generated code (consisting of 5 digits) delivered to the applicant’s device whose contact number was provided to Dye & Eskin, Inc. by the employer. The applicant will then confirm this passcode within eVictoryEnroll in order to complete the authentication process and have access to the life insurance application.

D&E has initiated the MFA structure in order to further protect an employee’s personal information. D&E is SOC 2 accredited in the US, and GDPR compliant in the European Union. Comprehensive data security protocols are an essential component of the D&E business model.
